Seema Haider’s ex-husband appeals India to send his children back to Pakistan

Seema Haider’s ex-husband, Ghulam Haider, appealed to Indian authorities to send his minor children back to Pakistan.

In a video statement, Ghulam Haider stated that his four children – Farhan Khan, Farwa Batool, Fariha Batool, and Farah Batool – are being stuck in India after their mother, Seema Haider, illegally crossed over to India with her four children in 2023 and took all the children with her.

Haider said it has been over a year since the case of the children’s custody case has been pending in Indian courts.

He disclosed that the names and the religion of his children are trying to change by force.

Ghulam Haider appealed to Indian External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar to send his four children back to Pakistan on an immediate basis.

It is worth mentioning here that a woman from Jacobabad in Sindh province, Seema Haider, back in 2023 took her children and left her home in Karachi to travel to India via Nepal illegally.

She captured the headlines in July when Indian authorities found her living with Indian national (now her husband) Sachin Meena in the greater Noida area in Utter Pradesh.

However, their plans took a detour when Haider was arrested on July 4, 2023, for entering India without a visa. Sachin, too, faced legal consequences for sheltering illegal immigrants, although he was later released.

The Indian Ministry of External Affairs stated that the matter was “under investigation.” Seema was presented before the court and was granted bail.
