The founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan, has directed key party leaders to continue the civil disobedience movement.
As per media reports, the Central Information Secretary of PTI – Sheikh Waqas Akram – confirmed that Imran Khan directed the party leaders, including party chairman Barrister Gohar, Secretary General Salman Akram Raja, and Information Secretary Sheikh Waqas Akram, to continue civil disobedience.
Sheikh Waqas Akram asserted that Imran Khan also instructed them to discuss global issues, with the exception of others from the party platform.

According to Akram, Imran Khan has set two key conditions for any negotiations: the release of all political prisoners, including himself, and the establishment of a judicial commission to investigate the incidents of May 9 and November 26.
It is pertinent to mention here that the talks between PTI and the federal government have officially begun, with both sides agreeing to continue discussions.
The next round of talks is scheduled for January 2, 2025.
