The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecasted that the country is likely to see another cold spell next month which further intensifies the persisting cold.
As each day passes, the cold weather has grappled across Pakistan, particularly in northern Balochistan, where severe cold has caused rivers and pipelines to freeze.
In cities like Ziarat, Quetta, and Kalat, residents are struggling with low gas pressure amidst freezing temperatures.
Karachi is also experiencing a drop in temperature due to cold winds, while severe cold conditions continue across Punjab, including Lahore.
After recent snowfall in Murree, temperatures have plummeted further, and intermittent snowfall continues in the upper regions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
Although the PMD has predicted a decrease in rain and snowfall this season, it has warned of an increase in cold weather starting from the second week of January.
