For the first time in Pakistan’s history, a comprehensive service center called “Cascade” has been launched in Islamabad’s Diplomatic Enclave, aimed at centralizing essential services for diplomats and foreign nationals.
During a ceremony at the Diplomatic Enclave in the federal capital, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi inaugurated the facility, designed to eliminate the need for international visitors to visit multiple offices for administrative processes.
The Cascade service centre offers over a dozen services under one roof, including the issuance and renewal of driving licenses, character certificates, police verification, and tenant registration.
Foreign nationals and diplomats can also register domestic staff, verify vehicles, and access copies of FIRs at the centre.
Naqvi highlighted the government’s commitment to enhancing the experience for international visitors, reflecting Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s vision of a welcoming environment for diplomats and foreign nationals in Pakistan.
Security has also been prioritized, with over 1,500 police and FC personnel stationed at the enclave, along with 20 dedicated vehicles.
The new centre not only aims to simplify bureaucratic procedures but also strengthens coordination between law enforcement and the diplomatic community.
Minister Naqvi, alongside diplomats, toured the new facility and praised its infrastructure, anticipating Cascade will set a new standard for efficiency and service delivery.
