The Sindh education department ordered private schools to promote class I through III students without an exam on Thursday.
Following a steering committee meeting, the Sindh Education Department issued a notification instructing all private schools to promote students from classes I, II, and III to the subsequent class without holding an examination.
The steering committee further directed the additional director of the directorate of private schools in the notification to hold the classes IV through VIII examinations after Eid-ul-Fitr.
In addition, all private schools in the province will begin the school year on August 1.
