The Government of Sindh has created new policy for government jobs in provincial departments. Hiring on over 40 thousand vacant posts will now be carried out as per new policy.
Syed Mumtaz Ali Shah, Chief Secretary Sindh said that the new policy for recruitment process of government jobs, from grade 1 to grade 16 in different departments, now divided in different sections.
Recruitment of grade one to grade four will be done by officers at local level in Sindh Government while the recruitment process of grade five till grade 16 will be done with the help of third party like IBA and NTS. These third parties will now conduct required tests and interviews of all the candidates, he added.
While talking to Times of Karachi, Chief Secretary Sindh Syed Mumtaz Ali Shah said that all the recruitments on vacant posts of Sindh will surely be done during the year 2019 without any delay and province is working with a commitment to keep transparency at all levels of recruitment in government jobs.
He said, more than 40 thousand vacant post in different departments of Sindh will now be covered by with this new policy which aims keep merit on top and to ensure righteous and non-discriminatory hiring process in all departments of Sindh.
Chief Secretary denied the claims of Parchi System and political influence in provincial jobs recruitment process.
