Sindh Minister for Information, Transport, and Mass Transit Sharjeel Inam Memon says the provincial government is working hard to improve Karachi’s public transportation system.
In an interview with World Bank Senior Transport Specialist Lincoln Flor in Karachi on Friday, he stated that the People’s Bus Service was recently launched on major common routes of the city at a cost of eight billion rupees to help citizens.
Sharjeel Memon and the World Bank’s Transport Specialist agreed on alternate BRT Yellow Line proposals to help the people on the occasion.
A World Bank representative assured the Sindh government of all possible assistance in developing Karachi’s public transportation infrastructure.
