Sindh government spokesperson Murtaza Wahab said that his government has allocated Rs8 billion for Karachi’s Safe City Project.
Speaking to Geo News, Wahab said that the Safe City project is very important, however in the past — due to technical issues — the Sindh government could not continue running the project.
Murtaza Wahab said that the Sindh government has once again started legislation to restart the Safe City Project and the results will be visible in the next few months.
He said that the three basic requirements to run the project successfully are: legislation, funding and the help of private contractors.
