A robber in the city’s Sohrab Goth area shot a man dead for resisting a robbery.
Sadaruddin, 45 and his 22-year-old son Javed were in the Sohrab Goth market when a robber allegedly cornered them but as they resisted, the robber opened fire and killed the 45-year-old on spot. The 22-year-old was also shot but survived the injuries.
Rescue officials have confirmed the details of the incident but no security official had reached the spot and the whereabouts of the suspects remained unknown till the filing of this story.
Both the body of the deceased and the wounded son were shifted to a hospital.
