Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has finally inaugurated the People’s Bus Service for Karachi.
In the first phase, 240 buses will be operated on 7 routes. In the new buses, a separate space has been allotted for special persons, while passengers will also be able to charge their mobile phones inside the bus.
Talking to media, Information and Transport Minister Sharjeel Memon said that old buses would not run on the routes of new buses.
The provincial minister said that the owners of existing buses have been offered to invest in this service as well, the provincial government will give you the best packages and full cooperation will be given, but first the old buses should be removed from the roads. ۔
Minister Saeed Ghani in a video statement said that it is a matter of great happiness for the Sindh government, this project was being delayed for which I apologize to the people of Karachi and finally we succeeded in it. ۔
Saeed Ghani said that their fare is also reasonable, citizens can travel in these buses easily, from today the citizens of Larkana and Karachi will start traveling in these buses.
