Despite a global decline in oil prices, the federal government has decided to maintain the prices of gasoline and diesel for the next 15 days.
Ishaq Dar, the finance minister, declared that the cost of gasoline and high-speed diesel would not change for the ensuing 15 days. He did, however, announce price reductions of Rs. 10 per litre for kerosene oil and Rs. 7 for light diesel.
He also disclosed a 15-day extension for filing income tax returns in the interim.
Dar had announced on November 15 that the prices of gasoline, diesel, and other petroleum products would remain the same.
Ishaq Dar had announced to maintain the petroleum products prices for the next 15 days. Dar said that the prices of petrol, diesel, light diesel and kerosene oil will remain unchanged till November 30 as per the federal government’s decision.
