The schedule for the by-elections to fill 33 National Assembly seats left vacant by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf MNAs was made public by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP). On March 16, the ECP has decided to hold by-elections for 33 NA seats; nomination papers may be submitted from February 6 to February 8.

Imran Khan, a former prime minister, will run in the by-election for all 33 open National Assembly seats, the party’s senior vice-president Shah Mehmood Qureshi declared on Sunday.
