The 10th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) kicks off today with a blockbuster opening match between Islamabad United and Lahore Qalandars at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

Fans are eagerly waiting for the much – anticipated showdown between two of the most successful teams in the tournament’s history.

Islamabad United, the defending champions and three-time winners, are looking to begin their title defense on a strong note. They are aiming for a record fourth PSL trophy this season.

On the other hand, Lahore Qalandars – champions in 2022 and 2023 – are looking to bounce back after a disappointing performance last year. With a balanced squad of young talent and experienced players, the Qalandars are hopeful to start their campaign with a win.
