In grams, 24-karat silver declined by Rs. 43 to Rs. 5,391. The persistent drops across both measurements underscore the unrelenting selling pressure in the white metal.
The decline was driven by continued weakness in global markets. The international silver price per ounce fell by $0.50 to $58.10, its lowest level in over a year. This global silver slide continues to exert massive downward pressure on local prices.

Since its peak above Rs. 10,000 per tola in early March, silver has now lost over Rs. 3,700, representing a correction of more than 37%.
The white metal’s higher volatility has resulted in an even steeper percentage decline from its highs compared to gold, with prices now trading at levels not seen since late 2025. The breach of key support levels suggests further downside may be possible.
