Teachers at the University of Karachi have protested the late payment of their monthly salaries.
The fourth time this year, their monthly salaries have been delayed, according to the teachers who are in protest.
The teachers who are in protest added that approximately 2500 workers have not yet received their November salaries.
The university is experiencing its worst financial crisis as a result of the science faculty’s inability to purchase crucial chemicals for labs due to a lack of funding.
Teachers will abstain from all academic activities and hold demonstrations until their salaries are paid.
