Karachi Administrator Murtaza Wahab on Thursday announced that the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation has decided to build a solar park in an effort to create more green energy in the city and combat climate change.
He made the announcement on Twitter and shared photos from the inauguration event.
The park will be created at Kidney Hill and produce 100 kilowatts of energy which will be used to pay electricity bills for street lights in KMC-controlled areas.
