The Karachi traffic police, to save the citizens from traffic problems, has identified 97 rain-affected roads in the city.

The DIG Traffic has written a letter to the Additional IG for road repairs stating that the flow of traffic is being severely affected due to road breakdowns.

The letter said the rains had caused deep potholes in the roads. It further said that different parts of the road are broken. 12 places were identified in the southern district and 40 places in the central district.

The DIG Traffic said in his letter that roads were damaged at 21 places in Eastern District and 15 places in Korangi, while roads in 29 places in Malir were damaged.
