Karachi airport detects 2 Covid-19 cases among passengers

Two travellers tested positive for COVID-19 at Karachi International Airport on Friday.

The travellers arrived in Karachi via Saudi Arabia on flightSV-708K.

According to airport officials, the finding was discovered after the patients had antigen testing for Covid-19.

During the inspection, the passengers’ body temperatures were likewise elevated. The COVID-positive travellers have been told to finish their quarantine at home.

Meanwhile, according to Sindh health department officials, up to ten individuals who arrived in Karachi from Saudi Arabia tested positive for the new coronavirus.
