Heat wave Warning for Karachi, Central and Upper Sindh

The Meteorological Department has forecasted relatively hot and humid weather in Karachi for the next three days. According to the department, the maximum temperature is expected to reach 34 to 36 degrees Celsius, accompanied by winds blowing from the west and south-west.

In addition, Central and Upper Sindh regions are likely to experience a heat wave starting today, with temperatures soaring to 45 degrees Celsius or higher. Areas such as Jamshoro, Dadu, Qamber Shahdadkot, Shaheed Benazirabad, Sukkur, Ghotki, Larkana, Jacobabad, and other districts are particularly susceptible to the extreme heat.

The Meteorological Department has also indicated the possibility of dusty winds and light rain in select areas including Jamshoro, Matiari, Tindu Ulyar, Mirpur Khas, and Sanghar today. Residents in these areas are advised to take necessary precautions and stay updated with weather advisories.
