Gulberg police on Tuesday claimed to have arrested a man moonlighting as ‘Deputy Inspector General (DIG) West’.
According to ARY News, Police said that the accused named Rifat Iqbal introduced himself as DIG West during a snap checking. The man was immediately picked up by the police and a case was registered against him. the arrested man was also accused of swindling money.
Police said that a woman had also registered a complaint against the fake DIG.
