NEPRA has approved fuel price adjustments for K Electric and power distribution companies.
Following the approval of the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA), the monthly fuel adjustment in Karachi is expected to increase the price of electricity by Rs4.83 per unit and in the rest of the country by Rs2.87 per unit.
Chairman NEPRA said that an estimate has just been given as to the extent of the increase, the authority will issue its detailed decision after further scrutiny of the data while the increase will be applicable for one month only.
