On the flip side, Singapore and Zurich clinch the title of the world’s most expensive cities, followed by New York, Geneva, and Hong Kong. Other cities making the list of priciest urban centers include Los Angeles, Paris, Tel Aviv, Copenhagen, and San Francisco.
According to the rankings encompassing 173 cities globally, Singapore and Zurich jointly claim the crown for the most expensive cities. New York and Zurich share the second spot, with Geneva taking the third position. This data emphasizes the financial challenges associated with living in these cosmopolitan hubs.
In contrast, the list of the most economical cities sees Damascus, the capital of Syria, securing the top spot for the fourth consecutive time, followed closely by Tehran and Tripoli. Karachi, representing Pakistan, attains the fourth position, showcasing its affordability in comparison to other global urban centers. Tashkent in Uzbekistan, Tunisia, Lusaka, and India’s Ahmedabad round out the list, emphasizing the diverse economic landscapes across the world.
