Court in Karachi denies two fake magic practitioners bail


Two fraudsters, who are involved in a forgery case are refused to grant bail by Magisterial Court in Karachi, the accused have been in jail on judicial remand. The two are alleged in deceiving people and disguised as Black Magicians.


Mukesh Kumar, the court of Judicial Magistrate East rejected the bail petitions of two imposters Awais and Arsalan, who were involved in making money by deceiving people, telling to resolve their different issues through Black Magic.


The accused had been arrested by law enforcement agencies from Malir, who used a Facebook page to attract people and made them fool by demonstrating witchcraft, said FIA in its report.


Prior in June 2019, a similar case was observed in Qila Gujjar Singh of Lahore, where a woman along with other accused were sent to jail by Judicial Magistrate.


Simon Masih, the husband of the accused, filed a report against his wife Anita for allegedly burning her children in a witchcraft practice.


According to the statement of the woman given to the police, the three-years daughter and two-years son were possessed by evil spirits which needed to be ousted through Black Magic.


“When I visited to my children on Thursday morning, found my daughter tied to a bed and son tied to a sofa, while a goat tied up between them in the same room, while my wife’s aunt allegedly performed a black magic ritual on them, by burning with candles and torturing them,” complainant said.


The children were taken to the hospital later by their father.
