Commissioner Karachi Office has officially set prices of Bakery items across the city until further notice, under Section 7 of the Sindh Essential Commodities Price Control and Prevention of Profiteering and Hoarding Act, 2005 (amended in 2008 and 2023).
According to the notification, the new prices are to be enforced immediately and will remain in effect until further notice, authorities have urged citizens to report any cases of overcharging through official complaint channels.

The government has mandated that the officially notified prices for bakery products classified under “Class A” bakeries will also be applicable to well-known brands such as Bake-Parlor, Dawn, Morning Fresh, Breedy’s, and other similar companies. This move aims to standardize pricing across the market and prevent discrepancies in retail costs.
