Commissioner Karachi has decided to decorate various highways of the city to welcome cricketers and citizens visiting Karachi for PSL7.
In a meeting chaired by Commissioner Karachi Muhammad Iqbal Memon, it has been decided that foolproof security will be provided for the event.
During the meeting, the commissioner directed that special arrangements should be made for the flow of traffic and only necessary routes should be closed.
He further directed that street lights should be installed around the stadium and highways should be lit.
On the other hand, the PCB has allowed 25% of spectators to watch PSL 7 matches live, which constitutes about 8000 spectators in each match.
Spectators will be required to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 and have their valid vaccination certificate in hand in order to enter the stadium.
The spectators will be required to cover their faces constantly with a mask and the stadium management will have the right to expel anyone who violates Covid-19 restrictions from the premises.
