Civil Aviation Authority imposes Rs 100 airport fee on domestic flight passengers

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has introduced airport charges for passengers on domestic flights, requiring a payment of Rs 100 per traveler. This new fee applies to all individuals boarding domestic flights and is set to be collected by airlines on behalf of the Civil Aviation Authority.

The decision to implement this airport fee on domestic flight passengers was confirmed through an official notification issued by the Civil Aviation Authority. Airlines operating in Pakistan are now mandated to collect the charges from passengers and remit the funds to the Civil Aviation Authority.

This move is aimed at contributing to the operational and maintenance costs associated with airport facilities and services for domestic flights. The Rs 100 airport fee will be part of the overall travel expenses for individuals utilizing domestic air travel services.
