On Wednesday, Rana Sanaullah, the interior minister, expressed concern about the “targeted attack” on Chinese nationals at a clinic in Karachi’s Saddar neighbourhood.
Rana Sanaullah has requested a report from Sindh Chief Secretary De. Muhammad Sohail Rajput after becoming aware of the occurrence.
An unnamed individual who assaulted them inside a clinic in Karachi’s Saddar neighbourhood while pretending to be a patient resulted in the death of a Chinese national and injuries to two other people.
SSP South Asad Raza said that the attacker entered the clinic pretending to be a patient and stayed there for a longer time.
He said that a Chinese cashier was killed right there while a doctor and his wife were injured. “As soon as his time came, he opened fire on the Chinese nationals inside the clinic,” he claimed.
An assailant is seen fleeing from the scene shortly after the assault, and authorities claim that the perpetrator used the MA Jinnah Road to do so. In order to identify the suspect’s escape path, the authorities will carefully examine every CCTV camera along the route.
