Data is being collected in the name of door to door survey from Karachiites. DIG East, Amir Farooqui has instructed public not to share data with anyone conducting survey. CPLC has also generated awareness about the issue and informed people not to share their personal data.
Amir Farooqui said that none can gather data without permission from government and official authorities. He further stated that it is not in our knowledge that government has started any data collection for elections. He advises public to verify if anyone comes to their house for data collection.
“Do not share your CNIC details and other information on public forums and with individuals. Refrain from providing data to anyone until there is no official announcement regarding it”, said DIG East Amir Farooqui.
