Another young man was shot dead by robbers during an attempt to mug him in PIB Colony, showing that the threat of street crimes in Karachi is still present.
A young man named Adnan Zuberi was shot and killed by armed robbers on Monday in Karachi’s PIB Colony, according to details of the incident.
When Adnan Zuberi, an accountant for a private company, went outside to buy milk, robbers shooting from the air struck him as they fled from a nearby robbery.
The victim’s family has requested that the police detain the suspects right away. After speaking with the family, a first information report (FIR) has been filed at the PIB police station.
In a statement, a police official claimed that efforts were underway to arrest the killers with the help of circumstantial evidence. The police further said that they have recovered a shell of 30 bores from the spot, which has been sent for forensics.
On the other hand, the family members have demanded to form a special team to arrest the suspects involved in the murder of the young man, Adnan Zuberi. They also demanded increased police patrolling in the area amid rising street crimes.
