According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola fell by Rs. 3,600 to settle at Rs. 465,536.

The price of 24-karat gold per 10 grams also declined by Rs. 3,086 to Rs. 399,122.

International gold prices also declined, falling by $36 to settle at $4,430 per ounce, as the precious metal gave back Friday’s gains.
The decline in international gold prices was reflected in domestic rates, with gold prices in Karachi retreating throughout Saturday’s session and reversing the ground gained a day earlier.
Gold rates in Karachi reverse Friday’s rally
Saturday’s decline followed Friday’s gain of Rs. 3,900 per tola, which had pushed gold rates in Karachi to Rs. 469,136. Saturday’s fall of Rs. 3,600 per tola wiped out nearly all of that gain, leaving prices close to where they stood before Friday’s rally.

Gold rates in Karachi slip below Rs. 466,000
At Rs. 465,536 per tola, gold rates in Karachi have moved below the Rs. 466,000 level, which was briefly crossed during Friday’s rally.
Internationally, gold at $4,430 per ounce has also pulled back from Friday’s levels, suggesting that the domestic decline is largely tracking the softer global session.
