Gold rates in Karachi reverse Friday’s rally

Saturday’s decline followed Friday’s gain of Rs. 3,900 per tola, which had pushed gold rates in Karachi to Rs. 469,136. Saturday’s fall of Rs. 3,600 per tola wiped out nearly all of that gain, leaving prices close to where they stood before Friday’s rally.

Gold rates in Karachi slip below Rs. 466,000

At Rs. 465,536 per tola, gold rates in Karachi have moved below the Rs. 466,000 level, which was briefly crossed during Friday’s rally.

Internationally, gold at $4,430 per ounce has also pulled back from Friday’s levels, suggesting that the domestic decline is largely tracking the softer global session.

Market outlook remains choppy

Gold rates in Pakistan continue to be influenced by global economic signals, currency movements and investor sentiment. Saturday’s pullback, coming immediately after Friday’s strong gain, highlights the market’s current volatility.

Traders and investors will be watching closely to see whether gold rates in Karachi stabilize in the coming sessions or whether the sharp price swings continue as global market conditions evolve.

All rates are officially certified by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association and are based on interbank exchange rates for 999 purity (24K).
