Gold Rate in Pakistan increased by Rs3,300 per tola as the new year began, reaching a new high, according to the latest rates announced by the Sarafa Bazaar Association.

The price of 24-karat gold rose to Rs187,200 per tola, compared with the previous rate of Rs183,900.
A tola of gold is equivalent to 11.6638038 grammes.
24K Gold Price Increases
The price of 10 grammes of 24-karat gold increased by Rs2,829, reaching Rs160,494.
Meanwhile, 10 grammes of 22-karat gold rose by Rs2,593 to Rs147,119.
The latest rates were announced by Al Haj Haroon Rasheed Chand, President of the Sarafa Bazaar Association.
International Gold Price
In the international market, gold was trading at $1,824 per ounce.
Gold prices also recorded a significant increase in Dubai, where the cost-plus price rose by approximately Rs6,500, according to the reported rates.
The latest increase reflects continued movement in both domestic and international gold markets as the new year begins.
