Gold prices in Karachi continued their recovery on Monday, with 24-karat gold rising Rs2,000 to Rs461,936 per tola.
The price of 24K gold increased to Rs396,035 per 10 grams, while 22K gold reached Rs363,045.
The local rally was supported by a $20 increase in international gold prices, which climbed to $4,395 per ounce.

The Karachi bullion market extended its steady recovery on Monday, with gold prices posting another solid gain to start the new trading week. The today gold rate in Karachi for 24-karat gold rose by Rs. 2,000, closing at Rs. 461,936.

This marks the continuation of a sustained uptrend that has seen gold climb approximately Rs. 40,000 from the multi-year lows below Rs. 421,000 recorded in mid-July. The steady market recovery reflects growing investor confidence.

In 10 grams, 24-karat gold increased by Rs. 1,715 to Rs. 396,035, while 22-karat gold rose by Rs. 1,572 to Rs. 363,045. The consistent gains across all variants suggest broad-based buying interest as the recovery gathers pace.

Gold rates in Karachi, August 13, 2026:

  • Gold, 24K per tola: Rs. 461,936 (+2,000)
  • Gold, 24K per 10 grams: Rs. 396,035 (+1,715)
  • Gold, 22K per 10 grams: Rs. 363,045 (+1,572)

The advance was supported by continued strength in global markets. The international gold price per ounce rose by $20 to $4,395, extending its recovery from recent lows. This global market support provides a solid foundation for local price appreciation.

Since the historic peak above Rs. 563,000 in early March, gold remains significantly below those highs. However, the recovery from the July lows now represents a bounce of approximately 9.5%, with prices steadily climbing higher each session.

Earlier to this, gold rates decreased by Rs. 3,500 per tola to Rs. 460,436 for 24-karat gold on Thursday, according to rates certified by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, ending a recent run of gains.

The Karachi bullion market pulled back on Thursday, with gold rates in Karachi retreating after several sessions of gains that had pushed the metal past Rs. 463,000 a day earlier.

Gold rates in Karachi for 24-karat gold fell by Rs. 3,500, closing at Rs. 460,436 per tola.

Despite Thursday’s dip, gold remains up nearly Rs. 39,400 from the multi-month lows below Rs. 421,000 seen in mid-July.

All rates are officially certified by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, based on interbank exchange rates for purity 999 (24K).
