International silver prices also staged a strong recovery, rising by $2.03 to settle at $59.66 per ounce, recovering a significant portion of the losses recorded in recent sessions.
The rebound in international silver prices was reflected in the domestic market, with Karachi Silver prices today rising across all categories.
After weeks of sustained losses, Thursday’s rally marked the strongest single-session gain since the brief recovery witnessed in mid-June and pushed prices further away from the Rs. 6,000 per tola level.
Karachi Silver prices today bounce back after extended losses
Thursday’s strong gain follows Wednesday’s decline of Rs. 107 per tola, which had pushed Pakistan Silver prices down to Rs. 6,242 and brought the market within touching distance of the Rs. 6,000 mark.

That decline came after Tuesday’s modest increase of Rs. 25 per tola had briefly interrupted the ongoing downward trend before quickly being erased by renewed selling pressure.
The broader picture over recent weeks has remained one of persistent weakness. Silver had briefly climbed above Rs. 7,500 per tola during a three-session rally in mid-June, but those gains were completely wiped out by a series of sharp declines that followed.
Thursday’s increase of Rs. 203 per tola represents the strongest positive session since that rally and offers the first meaningful indication that selling pressure may be easing.
Karachi Silver prices move closer to Rs. 6,500
At Rs. 6,445 per tola, Karachi Silver prices have recovered comfortably from the Rs. 6,000 level that appeared increasingly likely earlier this week and are now approaching Rs. 6,500 per tola.

Market outlook remains cautious
Silver rates continue to be influenced by global industrial demand, particularly from the electronics and renewable energy sectors, along with broader investor sentiment.
While Thursday’s strong recovery is an encouraging development, recent market volatility suggests caution remains warranted, as sharp reversals have become a recurring feature of silver trading.
Pakistan silver prices continue to be influenced by international silver prices, the rupee-dollar exchange rate, and overall investor sentiment.
Market participants will closely monitor upcoming sessions to determine whether Thursday’s rebound marks the beginning of a sustained recovery or proves to be another short-lived rally.
All rates are officially certified by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, based on interbank exchange rates for 999 purity (24K) silver.
