The three-match ODI series against Australia, scheduled from May 30 to June 4, will serve as his farewell. Pakistan will host the opening ODI in Rawalpindi, while the final two matches will be played at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

In an emotional message posted on his official X account, Chacha Cricket appealed directly to Pakistan Cricket Board chairman Mohsin Naqvi and the PCB management to make his last appearance at Gaddafi Stadium on June 4 a truly memorable occasion.

“4th June Pak vs Aus I’ll be witnessing my last ODI in Qaddafi. I request Chairman Mr Mohsin Naqvi and PCB management to make it a memorable day and end on high note. Sent email to Manager Operations and Events. Waiting for the positive response from PCB. Pakistan Zindabad,” he wrote.

A Journey That Began in the 1980s

Chacha Cricket’s incredible journey as Pakistan’s most devoted supporter began in the 1980s in Sharjah, where Pakistan frequently hosted their home series at the time. He later became an officially recognised mascot of the PCB in 1996, cementing his place as one of the most beloved figures in Pakistani cricket culture.
