The National Database & Registration Authority (NADRA) has expanded digital services to simplify vehicle buying, selling or transfer in Sindh.
According to the latest announcement, residents of Sindh can now complete biometric verification through the Pak ID application, helping protect buyers, sellers, and officials while reducing fraud via secure mobile authentication.

Officials said the initiative allows citizens to complete identity confirmation remotely, eliminating visits to registration centers and saving time, especially for people in remote districts.
Under the system, buyers and sellers use smartphones to verify fingerprints and identity details, ensuring transparent transfers and accurate records during vehicle purchase, sale, or ownership change.

Authorities explained that the Pak ID application connects securely with NADRA databases, enabling instant verification, preventing impersonation, and supporting law enforcement by maintaining reliable transaction histories.
During pilot phases, Pak ID biometric verification helped reduce complaints about forged documents, officials noted, adding that digital logs improved accountability among dealers and intermediaries.
