Weather experts said the sharp decline in nighttime temperatures is typical for early winter and can contribute to mild health concerns for vulnerable groups, especially infants, elderly residents, and outdoor workers.
The Meteorological Department reported that northeastern winds are blowing across Karachi at a speed of 3 kilometers per hour, maintaining the city’s dry environment and limiting coastal moisture inflow from the Arabian Sea.
Forecasters added that such wind patterns help reduce humidity during evening hours, resulting in clearer skies and cooler nights, although fog and mist may still develop in outer districts during early mornings.
