The Meteorological Department has indicated the possibility of strong winds entering Sindh by the night of July 22 or the morning of July 23, which will remain in effect till July 26.
The Department of Meteorology has predicted with reference to Karachi that there may be rain with thunder in many places during July 24 to 26 in the city, while there is also a fear of urban flooding in the urban areas of Sindh including Karachi.
According to the Meteorological Department, between July 23 and 26, thundershowers are expected at most places in Tharparkar and Umarkot, while strong winds and thundershowers are also expected in Mirpurkhas, Badin, Thatta and other areas.
It has been further informed by the Department of Meteorology that rains in Khuzdar, Lasbela, Hub and Kirthar ranges in Balochistan may put pressure on the Hub Dam, while there is a possibility of flooding in Dadu, Jamshoro and low-lying areas.
