The Punjab government has announced the date and location for the balloting of the Punjab Workers Welfare Housing Scheme 2025, which will use a computerized lottery to allocate affordable housing to low-income workers.

According to the official announcement, the lottery for 720 residential flats in the Workers Welfare Complex at Sundar Industrial Estate, Kasur Phase I.

This initiative is managed by the Punjab Workers Welfare Fund, offers low-cost houses/apartments to registered industrial workers in districts like Lahore, Faisalabad, and Multan.

Officials said the process will follow strict transparency protocols to ensure fairness for all registered workers.

According to the department, the computerized draw will be held on Friday, November 28, 2025, at the Chief Minister’s Office in the presence of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.

Authorities say this initiative aims to support workers who dream of owning a home but cannot meet rising construction and land costs across the province.

The Punjab government claims the program is already delivering significant impact, with 30,600 houses completed in a remarkably short period. Additionally, 105,700 families have successfully obtained loans to build new homes, signaling strong public interest and growing confidence in the scheme.

Officials added that future phases will include more housing units designed specifically for low-income workers employed in industrial zones.
