The second day of the seventh round of the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy saw some outstanding individual performances, with Multan’s Ali Usman stealing the spotlight by taking ten wickets against Sialkot.

Multan were bowled out for 139 in their first innings, with Imran Butt scoring 31.

Usama Mir and Mehran Mumtaz shared five wickets each, conceding 28 and 48 runs respectively.

Sialkot responded with 241 runs, thanks to a brilliant innings from Hasan Ali, who scored 91 runs with seven sixes and eight fours.

Ali Usman, meanwhile, took five wickets for 98 runs in each innings, completing an outstanding ten-wicket haul.

Chasing 288 for victory, Multan reached 103 for two by the close of play, with Zain Abbas unbeaten on 41.

Meanwhile, at the Shoaib Akhtar Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi, Abbottabad managed 191 runs in their first innings against Karachi Blues.

Khayam Khan top-scored with 59, while Saqib Khan was the pick of the bowlers, taking seven wickets for 34 runs.

Karachi Blues were 202 for three in their second innings by the end of play, with Shan Masood unbeaten on 114 runs.

At Abbottabad Stadium, Faisalabad posted 386 in their first innings against Islamabad, with Awais Zafar contributing 148 runs.

Hunain Shah shone with the ball, picking up five wickets for 84 runs.

Islamabad were bowled out for 159 in reply, with Sarmad Bhatti top-scoring with 57.

Khurram Shahzad took five wickets for 53 runs, and wicketkeeper Ali Shan completed five catches.

Faisalabad were 8 for no loss in their second innings when play ended.

In Peshawar’s Imran Khan Cricket Stadium, FATA scored 396 in their first innings against Bahawalpur.

Rehan Afridi made 88 runs, while Salman Khan had scored a century the previous day.

Bahawalpur were restricted to 146 runs in their first innings, with Mohammad Akram scoring 40.

Hayatullah was impressive with the ball, taking six wickets for 71 runs.

After following on, Bahawalpur had played just one ball and were yet to score.

At Diamond Cricket Ground in Islamabad, Lahore Whites scored 230 runs in their first innings against Peshawar.

Qasim Akram made 82 runs, while Ali Zaryab added 57.

Sajid Khan was the leading bowler with five wickets for 82 runs.

Peshawar finished the day at 108 for two in their second innings, with Israrullah unbeaten on 61.
