Several Pakistan players have made significant gains in the latest ICC ODI rankings after their impressive recent outings against South Africa and Sri Lanka.

Middle-order batter Salman Ali Agha jumped 14 spots to reach 16th place with career best 639 rating points, following his brilliant century in the first ODI against Sri Lanka.

Saim Ayub also made a big leap, climbing 18 places to 35th with 557 points after consistent performances in the South Africa series, where he was Pakistan’s top scorer with 169 runs in three matches at an impressive average of 56.33.

However, not all rankings moved upward.

Babar Azam slipped two places to 7th, while Mohammad Rizwan dropped four spots to 27th and Fakhar Zaman fell five places to 31st.

India’s Rohit Sharma continues to lead the ODI batting charts with 781 rating points, followed by Ibrahim Zadran of Afghanistan with 764 and Daryl Mitchell from New Zealand with 746 points.

Among bowlers, Abrar Ahmed made one of the most notable jumps, moving up 18 places to 20th with 575 points.

Haris Rauf rose two positions to 29th, and Mohammad Nawaz climbed five places to 65th.

Meanwhile, Pakistan ODI captain Shaheen Afridi dropped one spot to 16th with 584 rating points, and Mohammad Wasim Jr. slipped three spots to 85th, while Naseem Shah maintained his 34th position.

Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan remains the world’s top ODI bowler with 710 rating points, with England’s Jofra Archer climbing to second with 670 points and South Africa’s Keshav Maharaj falling to third with 660 points.

In the all-rounders’ list, Salman Ali Agha continued his rise, moving up seven places to 11th with 212 points.

Naseem Shah improved by three spots to 27th, while Saim Ayub climbed 12 positions to 36th.

Haris Rauf and Mohammad Nawaz also made progress, ranking 56th and 61st respectively.

Afghanistan’s Azmatullah Omarzai holds the top spot among ODI all-rounders with 334 rating points, followed by Sikandar Raza of Zimbabwe and Mohammad Nabi, also from Afghanistan.
