Authorities have released a report detailing the deportation of Afghan nationals over the past 10 months, revealing that more than 1.56 million people have returned to Afghanistan through legal procedures.
According to the report, 3,447 undocumented Afghan citizens were deported during this period, while 269 individuals were sent back after their visas expired.
Additionally, 22 Afghan citizens holding official cards were also repatriated.

The report further stated that there were 671 ACC card holders and 1,421 POR card holders among those deported.

A total of 5,854 Afghan nationals were taken into custody, out of which 1,094 were released after their documents were verified.
On November 1 alone, nearly 10,700 Afghan refugees were repatriated through the Chaman border, while the process later extended to the Torkham crossing as well.
Officials confirmed that the return process is being conducted in a lawful and organized manner, ensuring that each individual’s documents are verified before crossing the border.
The Frontier Corps (FC) and civil administration have also arranged temporary accommodation and food facilities for the returning Afghan refugees.
