Drive with caution in the rain, Motorway Police advises

As the second spell of Monsoon hit Sindh, the Motorway Police deemed it fit to caution drivers against driving rashly in the rain.

Many parts across the motorways get slippery and greasy due to rainwater that may cause vehicles to lose control, said the motorways police. They also said that motorists can call the 130 helpline to seek assistance while driving the route.

Various parts of Karahi including Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Malir, Gulzar-e-Hijri, M9 motorway, Shahrah-i-Faisal, University Road, Mahmoodabad, Hassan Square, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Jail Road, Jamshed Road and various phases of DHA received heavy rains from September 1 to 3.
