Based on the latest statement by Special Assistant to Sindh Chief Minister Waqar Mehdi, results of Coronavirus tests will be released within ten minutes in Karachi.
As reported by local news media, Waqar Mehdi himself underwent the process at a facility in Karachi to check out the procedure.
This move seems to have been made keeping in mind the rising number of coronavirus cases in Karachi regularly.
The official held a meeting soon afterwards to discuss the future approach to the pandemic.
Deputy Commissioner Sindh mentioned how a special unit had been set to conduct rapid tests in order to increase the system’s ability to test maximum patients on a daily basis.
