Karachi is likely to remain mostly cloudy and humid today, with isolated drizzle expected in some areas, according to the latest Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) weather advisory.
The maximum temperature is forecast between 32°C and 34°C, while the minimum will stay around 26°C to 28°C. Morning humidity levels may reach 85 percent, dropping to 60 percent in the evening.
Winds will initially blow from the northeasterly direction before shifting to east and southeast later in the day, adding to the city’s muggy conditions.
The weather system is being influenced by a deep depression over the Northeast Arabian Sea, around 400 km south of Karachi. This depression is moving west-northwest and is likely to impact several Sindh districts.
