The postmortem of 7-year-old boy, named Saad Ali, whose body was found in a sack near Karachi’s Landhi Lal Mazar, has confirmed sexual assault, with blunt force trauma (forceful impact) being the cause of death.
The autopsy conducted by Police Surgeon Dr. Samia Tariq confirmed signs of sexual abuse and revealed that the child had died from severe head injuries caused by blunt force trauma, however, the chemical tests are still pending.
Local residents have expressed outrage over the incident, calling for stronger measures to prevent such crimes and ensure justice for the child.
After the child went missing, the family filed a complaint with the Landhi police station, fearing that their children might get kidnapped.

The minor boy, later identified by his family, was discovered by locals on an empty plot after he went missing for several days in Karachi.
Family members of the victim, joined by residents of Karachi’s Landhi area, staged a protest outside the local police station, demanding intensified efforts to locate their missing child.
In response to the growing public pressure, police launched an investigation and later announced the arrest of two suspects allegedly involved in the sexual assault and murder of the seven-year-old boy.
During a press conference, DSP Landhi Faiza Sodhar revealed that both arrested individuals had confessed to the crime. She added that the accused are residents of the same locality and were known to the child.
The police are awaiting the results of chemical tests on the body’s samples, which could provide further details in the case.
