A young employee of a private school in Karachi named Usman reportedly jumped off from the administrative building of his office after allegedly facing harassment and mistreatment from his school staff.
According to media reports, the tragic incident took place when Usman jumped from the eighth floor of the administrative building of the private school near the lines area. He reportedly posted a final note online before taking his life.
According to officials, a case has been registered at the Brigade Police Station. The First Information Report (FIR), filed by Usman’s brother, includes attempted murder charges against three school employees, whom Usman named in his final note.
The FIR includes the three accused school staff members as Irfan, Hassan, and Talha. Usman’s final social media message alleged that they mentally tortured him, driving him to the extreme step.
Authorities said investigations are ongoing to determine the full circumstances of the incident. Evidence, including the victim’s social media posts, will be part of the inquiry process.
