Pakistani rupee (PKR) strengthened by Rs0.76 against the US dollar in the interbank trading and closed at Rs283.45 against the previous day’s closing of Rs284.21.
According to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of the dollar in the open market stood at Rs284.0 and Rs286.55 respectively.
The price of Euro decreased by Rs1.45 to close at Rs332.88 against the last day’s closing of Rs334.34, according to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
The Japanese yen went down by Rs0.226 and closed at Rs1.91, whereas an increase of Rs3.86 was witnessed in the exchange rate of the British Pound, which traded at Rs381.59 as compared to the last day’s closing of Rs385.45.
The exchange rate of the Emirates Dirham decreased by Rs0.283 to close at Rs77.38 and the Saudi Riyal decreased by Rs0.203 to close Rs75.55.
