This modest decline follows Wednesday’s small gain, suggesting that the white metal continues to face headwinds. The silver market weakness persists amid a challenging global environment.

In 10 grams, 24-karat silver decreased by Rs. 43 to Rs. 5,596. The declines across both measurements indicate continued selling pressure.

The drop was driven by weakness in global markets. The international silver price fell by $0.50 to $60.50, retreating from recent levels. This global softness provided a bearish cue for local traders.

Since the late August peak near Rs. 7,329, silver has now retreated approximately Rs. 800 per tola. The metal remains above the July lows near Rs. 6,000, but the inability to hold above Rs. 6,600 suggests continued weakness in the near term.

Earlier to this, silver rate in Pakistan remained relatively stable, with the white metal posting a modest gain to close the month. The 24-karat silver rate rose by Rs. 20, closing at Rs. 6,578 per tola.

This small uptick follows Tuesday’s minimal decline, suggesting that the white metal has found a temporary equilibrium after the recent volatility.

In 10 grams, 24-karat silver increased by Rs. 17 to Rs. 5,639. The modest gain indicates cautious buying interest at current levels.

All rates are officially certified by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, based on interbank exchange rates for purity 999 (24K).
