Pakistani rupee on Thursday strengthen by Rs0.539 against the US dollar in the interbank trading and closed at Rs284.22 against the previous day’s closing of Rs284.76.
According to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of the dollar in the open market stood at Rs 286.50 and Rs 288.30 respectively.
The price of Euro increased by Rs0.064 to close at Rs 334.34 against the last day’s closing of Rs 334.41, according to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
The Japanese yen went down and closed at Rs 1.9409, whereas an increase of Rs0.246 was witnessed in the exchange rate of the British Pound, which traded at Rs 385.46 as compared to the last day’s closing of Rs 385.70
The exchange rate of the Emirates Dirham increased by Rs0.146 to close at Rs 77.38 and the Saudi Riyal increased by Rs0.145 to close Rs77.38.
